For those who have yet to experience this, be forewarned:  We LOVE dogs.  Big, little, messy, and prim – we really do love them all.  You may not realize, but our very name was inspired by a dog!  Yes, it’s true,  Bird was a dog, and Jen is a dog-lover.  We thought we’d start a section devoted to the canines who visit us here (and yes!  We now have treats at the desk for them!).  Below are a few shots of dogs who have stopped by to lounge and lick our faces.  Stay tuned for a section on our Facebook page for these furry friends of ours!!

Today officially marks our 6 month anniversary!  How time flies when we’re having fun.  Thank you so much to everyone who has been so supportive throughout the last 6 crazy months.  Clients and friends old and new, we salute you! Jen made cupcakes today to celebrate the occasion (much to this fat kid’s dismay…) and we thought that we’d keep up the tradition over the next month.  To celebrate the many holidays this season we’ll be offering baked goods on a regular basis, so stay tuned!

It may seem a bit counterintuitive, but we are LOVING short styles for fall!

Your hair is the one accessory you have at your disposal at all times, so it’s important to have a cut that reflects you personal style and makes you feel great!  Long, beachy waves are great for summer , but when temperatures drop and fashion week hits, many of our clients are in the market for a brand new ‘do.

Below, one of Josh’s clients takes the plunge from long to short – we LOVE the way the new cut frames her face.  If you’ve been thinking about going short, this is the season to do it!

Since 1810, the heart of Bavaria has taken deep pride in the annual Oktoberfest, a two week tribute to German culture.  What started off as a wedding celebration has turned into a gigantic carnival-like affair that draws crowds for miles.  Spaten, one of the oldest breweries in Bavaria, makes the trademark beer for the festival, and sells it worldwide every Autumn.

In tribute to the greatest Beer Garden in the world, we will be featuring Spaten Oktoberfest beer this month.  Come on in and have a delicious taste of Germany’s best while you wait.  And bring your lederhosen.
